About Model Plane Foam:

MPF was formed in January 2012 to distribute a premium grade of polystyrene foam for the Model aviation community. Three "scratchbuilt foamie" radio control plane builders and flyers, having built a number of planes using currently available materials, and realizing their shortcomings decided to look for an economical material that retained their benefits and eliminated the shortcomings. We had migrated to using foam as our primary construction material using extruded Styrene foams like the blue and pink fanfold materials or foam core poster boards.  All of these have primary uses in other areas than model building.  A need existed therefore for a material that combined all the desired features without the undesireable ones. We believe we have been able to achieve this in our current product.

The negatives eliminated: waves and thickness variation neccessary for siding underlayment; perforations originally for moisture diffusion; plastic film or paper skins, and logo/informational printingon either side.

Positves retained: constant section, flat, No perforations, No skins, no printing, Neutral/white color.  Same density (2lb/cuft) as the most popular fanfold product. Sheet size the same as fanfold.
